Beginner Camp was a blast! We had around 35 girls show up from age 9 to 16! We learned everything from how to hold a field hockey stick and "hockey stance", up to corners and real gameplay! There were some very talented freshmen who came to camp and will be attending SGHS in the fall! Our JV and Varsity teams are going to be awesome!
Thanks to all of the assistant coaches and players for coming out to help, including Kristin (graduate of '05), Heidi (graduate of '07), Lori (graduate of '09), Alison, Katie, Rachel, Mary Grace, Anna, Madison, Julie, and Cameron! I could not have done it without you guys there!
Onto other things... Returners Camp is this week! Please come out to St. Joseph's for some scrimmaging, fun, possibly a 711 trip, and discussion on this upcoming season!
